Summary

Cumulative update packages for Microsoft Project Server 2010 contain hotfixes for the Project Server 2010 issues that were fixed since the release of Project Server 2010.

Note This is build 14.0.5128.5000 of the cumulative update package.

We recommend that you test hotfixes before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the builds are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security updates that were included with the previous Project Server 2010 update package releases.

Important notes about the cumulative update package

The Microsoft Office 2010 hotfixes are now multilingual. This cumulative update package contains updates for all languages.
This cumulative update package includes all the server component packages. Additionally, this cumulative update package updates only those components that are installed on the system.

The content-based query web part in the Document Center page no longer displays the document files in SharePoint Server 2010. This issue occurs when you are using an anonymous user for accessing the Document Center page.
Consider the following scenario. You try to import pictures in a user profile from the Active Directory thumbnailPhoto attribute to the PictureURL attribute in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. You set up an import PictureURL mapping. Then, you perform a full synchronization in the SharePoint server. In this scenario, the pictures are not added to the user profile in the SharePoint server.

Note You can use following command to perform the import operation:

Update-SPProfilePhotoStore -CreateThumbnailsForImportedPhotos 1 -MySiteHostLocation http://<YourServerName>/my
You set a numeric value for a filter in a synchronization connection in SharePoint Server 2010. Then you save the filter. In this situation, you notice that the numeric value in the filter has unexpectedly increased when you view the filter again.
