When you try to perform a new migration in Exchange Online by using Exchange Admin Center in Office 365 or by using Exchange Control Panel in Office 365 pre-upgrade, you receive the following error message:
A migration batch is being processed. To submit a new batch, wait until the current one is completed, or cancel it, and then submit a new batch.
Additionally, the New button isn't available, and the current migration that's in process doesn't stop.


To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Connect to Exchange Online by using remote PowerShell. For more information about how to do this, go to the following Microsoft website:

  2. Type the following command, and then press Enter:
