When the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 E-mail Router runs Microsoft SQL Server queries, time-out errors are generated. 

This problem occurs when Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 E-mail Router uses inefficient Microsoft SQL Server queries to retrieve email messages.This problem occurs if Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 contains lots of records for the Activity entity and for the Email entity.

1. Under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSCRM registry subkey on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server, add the following REG_DWORD registry entry:
   SmartMatchingForceOrder
2. Set the value of the registry entry that you just added to 1.
