Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 R2 fix release.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have the SQL Server 2008 R2 Master Data Services (MDS) installed on a computer.

  • You browse through a MDS website by using a low screen resolution. For example, you use the 1024x768 screen resolution.

  • You try to view an entity in the Entity Explorer grid.

In this scenario, the Entity Explorer grid displays only less than 3 rows. Therefore, you have to scroll up or scroll down to view more rows frequently.
