You configure a workflow to start automatically when a new item is added to a Microsoft SharePoint 2007 document library. Then, you add several items to the document library at the same time through the Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) protocol. In this situation, the workflow status is empty in the list view although the workflow status page reports the workflow status as In Progress.
Consider the following scenario. You set the permissions for a user account and add the user account to a SharePoint group in a SharePoint 2007 site. You later disable the account. Then, you import a SharePoint site by using the stsadm -o export -url <site> -includeusersecurity command. In this scenario, the user account is enabled. Additionally, the user account is no longer in the SharePoint group.
You perform an import operation by using the stsadm command in a SharePoint 2007 site. The import data contains lookup fields associated with a document that uses versioning control. In this situation, the values of the lookup fields are not retained. Specifically, you cannot recover missing values for the lookup fields from earlier versions of a document, even if earlier versions of the document are restored.
You implement an incremental content deployment for a SharePoint 2007 site. There are multiple procedures being run on the Microsoft SQL Server during the export phase of the content deployment job. In this situation, you receive the following error message:
Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint.
You cannot restore a web application when an instance of a SQL Server is a nondefault instance such as a named instance. This issue occurs when you use the Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS). Note This issue occurs after you apply the hotfix packages that are described in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) articles 981042 and 981043.
You perform an export operation in SharePoint 2007 when there are multiple users who are working on a document that has versioning control. In this situation, you receive the following error message:
System.ArgumentException: This constraint cannot be enabled as not all values have corresponding parent values.
You start the GetListItems web service method of the Lists.asmx SharePoint web service in SharePoint 2007. Then, you set an empty xmlns=”” attribute as the first attribute in the <ViewAttributs> element. In this scenario, you receive a SOAP error.
When you run a recycle bin cleanup job, the cleanup job times out because there are too many items in the Recycle Bin.
You create several different alert notifications for different alert handlers in SharePoint 2007. You set the alerts to be processed in a timer job interval. In this scenario, only one of the alert notifications is used for all the alerts you created.
When you use more than 64 themes in a SharePoint 2007 site, and then you click the Theme Site link, you receive the following error message:
Unknown Error.
Note The new limit for different themes is now 1024.
There is no update to the ULS log to track an issue in a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site when the web parts are closed occasionally.
You create a view for a list in a SharePoint 2007 site. In the view, you set the condition to greater than or equal to or less than[Today] on a columnof the list. However, when an item is changed or is created in the view, you do not receive a message even if you configure the alert to send an email message.
Consider the following scenario. In an Office SharePoint 2007 Server site, you create several lookup columns which point to other lists in a site. You break the permission inheritance on several list items, folders, and document library items. Then, you log on with an account that is part of many SharePoint groups and try to visit a view in a list. In this situation, you receive the following error message:
<!-- #RENDER FAILED -->
Additionally, when you try to view the properties of an item in the list, you receive the following error message:
Must declare the table variable @_scopeTbl.
When you are not the user in the Active Directory in SharePoint 2007, and then you apply the hotfix package that is described in Microsoft KB article 2412258, you receive the following error:
Items in a document library are still crawled after you set "Allow items from this list to appear in search results" to "No" in Office SharePoint Server 2007
