WD2000: Merge with Multiple Pages per Sheet Works for First Record Only

SYMPTOMS

When you perform a mail merge and attempt to print multiple pages on a sheet by using the Zoom printing feature, the first record is merged correctly, but the remaining records are merged to a single page per sheet.

To locate the Zoom printing feature, click Print on the File menu.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, perform your mail merge to a new document and then use the Zoom printing feature to print multiple pages on a single sheet.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

Word 2000 includes a Zoom feature that allows you to print multiple pages per a single sheet by scaling your pages to fit on the sheet. To locate these options, click Print on the File menu. The following table describes these Zoom settings.
