Incoming UDP requests from the host system may be dropped when you run Host Integration Server 2010Article ID: 2446500 On This PageSymptomsWhen you run Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 on a computer, incoming User Datagram Protocol (UDP) requests from the host system may be dropped. CauseThis problem occurs because the installation of Host Integration Server 2010 adds a firewall rule to the local server firewall. This added rule creates a nonexistent dependency on the IP data link connection (IPDLC) service. This nonexistent dependency may block incoming requests over UDP ports 12000 - 12004. To view the details of the added rule, at a command prompt, type the following command, and then press Enter: netsh advfirewall firewall show rule IPDLC verbose The details of the added rule resemble the following:Rule Name: IPDLC----------------------------------------------------------------------Description: IP-DLC Link ServiceEnabled: YesDirection: InProfiles: Domain,Private,PublicGrouping: Host Integration ServerLocalIP: AnyRemoteIP: AnyProtocol: UDPLocalPort: 12000,12001,12002,12003,12004RemotePort: AnyEdge traversal: NoProgram: C:\Program Files\Host Integration Server\system\snalink.exeService: IPDLCInterfaceTypes: AnySecurity: NotRequiredRule source: Local SettingAction: AllowOk.
