You receive a synchronization failed email message when you synchronize your mobile device by using ActiveSync on an Exchange Server 2010 mailbox

SYMPTOMS

You synchronize your mobile device on a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 mailbox by using ActiveSync. In this situation, you may receive an email message on your mobile device that contains the following error message:

From: Microsoft Exchange on Behalf of <user>
Sent: <date>
To: <other user>
Subject: Synchronization with your <ActiveSync device> failed for 1 items.
Synchronization with your <ActiveSync device> failed for 1 items.
Microsoft Exchange was unable to send the following items to your mobile device. These items have not been deleted. You should be able to access them using either Outlook or Outlook Web Access.
Item Folder: Inbox
Item Type: IPM.Schedule.Meeting.Resp.Pos
Item Created: <date>
Item Subject: <subject>

Note You still receive the same email message even if the synchronization is successful.
