SYMPTOMS

After you uninstall Internet Explorer 5.01 from a computer running Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, or Windows NT, the Radio toolbar may be missing.

Additionally, when you point to Toolbars, and click Radio on the View menu, the option may be missing or may be displayed as the following example:
@msdxmLC.dll, -1@1033, Radio

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Msdxm.ocx file is unregistered during the uninstallation of Internet Explorer 5.01.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, re-register the Msdxm.ocx file:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 msdxm.ocx, click OK, and then click OK.
  2. Quit and restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
