When you click on a Gopher search link in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, the browser stops responding. This happens when the Gopher port (:70) is accessed with the /77 value. Internet Explorer 4.0 does not have this problem. The problem will not appear on Internet Explorer 5.0 when you go through a proxy.
