This article describes how to have linked pages in the Small Business Server console open in a new window, instead of in a frame.

risk. When you click links in the Small Business Server console, the default behavior is to open the new page in a frame. You can use the steps in this article open a new window in a separate instance of your browser. Use Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe) to edit the Target value in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Small Business\Console\Favorites\Custom\Link#
To locate the Link# that is associated with the link on the SBS Console, compare the TitleText value to the console link's text.
NOTE: Setting the Target to 0x1 displays the link In Frame. Setting the Target to 0x0 displays the link in a New Window.
