SYMPTOMS
When a network printer is mapped or captured to use LPT1, local printing may not work properly.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the local LPT1 printer port is redirected to use the network shared resource.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue:

If this issue occurs because of a network login script, the script must be rewritten to capture or map an alternate port.
