FIX: ASP.NET 4 SiteMapProvider URLs Incorrect in Cookieless ModeArticle ID: 2472263 - View products that this article applies to. On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario:
In this scenario, the user may see that their session or forms authentication identity is changed to a different user. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the URL table for the SiteMapProvider object is built when the navigation controls are first data bound. The URL table is then cached for future use in later requests. When the website is configured to run with cookieless sessions or cookieless forms authentication, the session ID or forms authentication ticket for the first user to access the site is included in the cached URLs. Therefore, other users will switch to the first user’s session ID or forms authentication identity when they click a link in the navigation controls.
