OL2000: Differences Between Outlook and Outlook Express SYMPTOMS
After you download Internet Explorer, you may be unable to start Outlook Express or open the address book in Outlook Express. You may also receive the following error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module WAB32.dll.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if the Wab32.dll file is damaged or corrupted.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, rename the address book name. Do not rename the extension.
NOTE: The address book file name is usually your logon name. If the file extension is not visible, you may disable hiding of the File Extensions. To do so, follow these steps: Disable the Hiding of File Extensions

This behavior may also occur if the Outlook Express folder is named Outloo~1. If the the Outlook Express folder is named Outlook~1, rename the folder to Outlook Express.
