. On This PageSYMPTOMS After you install Windows or upgrade to Windows 2000, you
may experience one or more of the following symptoms:
CAUSE This issue can occur if you are using a network adapter
that is not supported in Windows 2000. Note that some network adapters that are
supported in Windows NT, Windows 98, and Windows 95 are not supported in
Windows 2000. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, use either of the following methods:
Method 1Contact the manufacturer of your network adapter to inquire about the availability of an updated driver for your network adapter that is compatible with Windows 2000.Method 2Uninstall your unsupported network adapter, and then obtain and install a supported network adapter.MORE INFORMATIONWindows 2000The following list includes the network adapters that are not supported in Windows 2000:
