Symptoms
If you generate a system health report on a Windows 7-based computer, the system health report reports that no antivirus program is installed on the computer even when an antivirus program is installed. This means that you can’t use the system health report in a domain environment to determine which computers do not have an antivirus program installed.
Additionally, the following message is in the report:
Symptom: The Security Center has not recorded an anti-virus product.
Cause: The Security Center is unable to identify an active anti-virus application. Either there is no anti-virus product installed or it is not recognized.
Resolution: 1. Verify that an anti-virus product is installed. 2. If an anti-virus product is installed and functioning configure Security Center to stop monitoring anti-virus status.
Cause
This issue occurs because the system health report engine uses an incorrect Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) namespace to query information about installed antivirus applications.
Resolution
Note This hotfix uses a new Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) namespace and only lets you verify the presence of an installed antivirus product. The product state cannot be reported.
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. To generate a system health report, follow these steps:

In Control Panel, open the Action Center item.

In the navigation pane, click View performance information.

In the navigation pane, click Advanced Tools.

Click Generate a system health report.
Notes

In the Resource and Performance Monitor window, the diagnostic results of the System Diagnostics Report indicate that "the Security Center has not recorded an anti-virus product."
