How to run Office 2000 on a locked-down system

is running Microsoft Windows NT Workstation version 4.0 or Microsoft Windows
2000 Professional, you can secure the computer by using Group Policy in Windows
2000, or by using the Security Configuration Manager as part of Service Pack 4
or later for Windows NT Workstation 4.0. This article contains information about locking down Microsoft Office 2000. MORE INFORMATION If you need to enhance security on a computer that is
running Office 2000, use the security templates of the Security Configuration
Manager of Windows NT 4.0 or Group Policy of Windows 2000. The Security Configuration Manager can be downloaded as part of the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0.
