SYMPTOMSThe Microsoft Exchange Information Store service randomly stops responding on a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Additionally, the following event is logged in the event log: Event Type: Error CAUSEThis issue occurs because the table cursor leaks when a transaction is rolled back on to the server. When a table has to be closed, the table may be postponed to be closed in order to reuse the table later. However, when this table is postponed to be closed and a transaction is rolled back afterward, the table cursor is leaked. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
