for a Rich Text Format (RTF) file that contains an especially malformed control
word in the file header, the program may not work properly or may generate a
general protection (GP) fault.
RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available
from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be
applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem.
