  • 980095 An update package is available to disable the “Ask questions” and “Chat” options in Office Live Meeting 2007

  • 972718 The content folders for a new conference are not created when the new conference is initialized in Office Communications Server 2007 R2

To install this cumulative package, install the OCS2007-KB2501717-amd64-DataMCU.msp package on the following server roles:

  • Office Communications Server 2007 R2 – Standard Edition

  • Office Communications Server 2007 R2 – Enterprise Edition Consolidated

  • Office Communications Server 2007 R2 – Enterprise Edition Distributed – Web Conferencing Server

Note When you apply this cumulative update on a computer that is running Windows 2008 and has the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, start the installation of the cumulative update (.msp) by using the command prompt. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start the Start button , click
    All Programs, click Accessories, and then right-click Command Prompt.

  2. Click Run as administrator.User Account Control If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.

  3. Start the cumulative update (.msp).

Removal information

To remove this cumulative update, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.

You may be prompted to restart your computer after you uninstall the cumulative update for Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Web Conferencing Server.
