Information that is collected

The following data may be collected by the Office Memory Dump Collection diagnostic that is run by the Microsoft Support Diagnostic tool.
Unresponsive application dump data
The following files are generated and collected when you respond in the Microsoft Office Diagnostics screen by selecting The application has become unresponsive.

In this scenario, up to seven .dmp files are generated, 15 seconds apart. These files capture the details of memory-related events that occur while the selected application is in an unresponsive state. Because these files are typically very large, the diagnostic may take several minutes to finish.
