SYMPTOMS

The state information does not populate Box 17 (State/Payer's state no.) and Box 18 (State Income) on the 1099 form in Payables Management in Microsoft Dynamics GP.

CAUSE

Microsoft Dynamics GP does not support Box 17 (State/Payer's state no.) or Box 18 (State Income) on the 1099 form at this time.

RESOLUTION

Box 17 and Box 18 must be manually updated on the 1099-MISC form.
