Trên máy tính đang chạy Windows 7 hoặc Windows Server 2008 R2, bạn có thể gặp hiệu suất kém trong các ứng dụng sử dụng API DirectWrite (chẳng hạn Windows Internet Explorer 9). Thông tin về hiệu suất cho biết rằng mỗi ứng dụng đang tải tất cả các phông chữ hiện có thay cho việc dựa vào dịch vụ FontCache để tái tạo phông chữ.
Sự cố này xảy ra do API DirectWrite bắt đầu đọc thông tin về phông chữ trực tiếp từ các tệp phông chữ và ghi chúng trực tiếp vào bộ nhớ đệm nếu dịch vụ FontCache mất nhiều thời gian để phản hồi.

Điều này là do gói hotfix không chứa phiên bản đã cập nhật của trình điều khiển khác. Gói hotfix được mô tả trong KB2454826 có chứa phiên bản đã cập nhật của trình điều khiển này.
