You are unable to RDP to Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP

Symptoms

When you try to connect to a remote computer that is running Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP SP3 through Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), the connection may not be created and you receive the following error message:

Application popup: : \SystemRoot\System32\RDPDD.dll failed to load

Cause

The issue occurs because the system is running out of session image space, which causes the RDPDD.dll not to be loaded.

Resolution

To alleviate the issue, increase the size of the session image space by modifying this registry key.

Note: This change requires a reboot.

Where 00000020 is hex for 32
