WD2000: Error Message "Word Cannot Complete the Save" When You Save Document Opened in Internet Explorer

When you save your document, the following error message may appear: where <filename> is the name of the file that you are trying to save.

This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:

• You click a hyperlink to a Microsoft Word document.

• The document opens in Internet Explorer.
  
  -and-
  
  
• You are running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 on one of the following platforms:
  
  
• Microsoft Windows 95
• Microsoft Windows 98

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
