When you import contacts that include X.400 e-mail addresses from a comma separated value (*.csv) file into the Contacts folder, the address type defaults to SMTP. This causes these addresses to be unusable, and generates non-delivery reports (NDRs).

STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Outlook 2000. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Office 2000 Service Pack 2.
