Performance counter 'Redirector-Current Commands' always shows a value of '0'

SUMMARY

When using Performance Monitor, the performance counter 'Redirector - Current Commands', will always show a value of '0' (zero). This issue occurs on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 208 R2.
