MORE INFORMATION
The Microsoft Office 2000 Web Archive Add-on allows you to save a Web page as a single file, including all of the graphics on the page, by using the MIME HTML Internet standard. This is especially useful if you save your Microsoft Office 2000 documents as Web pages, because most of the Microsoft Office 2000 programs save Web pages as multiple files. Packing your Microsoft Office 2000 documents with the Web archive add-on helps to avoid errors if you want to send the Web page to someone else. By using Web archive, you can easily send the Web page as one file through e-mail, or you can save the Web page for offline viewing. You can also unpack a Web archive if you need to restore it to its original state. NOTE: To use the Web archive add-on--to archive, view, or restore archived Web pages--you must install Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or later and Microsoft Outlook Express. Although you do not need to use Outlook Express to send archive files by e-mail, Outlook Express must be installed.
