Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 R2 fix release.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You create a clustering model by using the K-means algorithm in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Analysis Services.

  • The mining structure contains PredictOnly columns.

  • You change the position of PredictOnly columns in the mining structure or you remove the PredictOnly columns from the mining structure.

In this scenario, the mining model may generate different clustering analysis results unexpectedly.

More Information

Columns that are set to Predict Only are not used to build clusters. The distributions of these values in the clusters are calculated after the clusters are built.
