Internet Explorer 8 does not respect the Security Features Group Policy settings

On a computer that has Windows Internet Explorer 8 installed, you configure Group Policy settings under one of the following nodes:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Security FeaturesHowever, some settings do not work on as expected.
Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Security Features
This problem occurs because Internet Explorer 8 does not read the registry keys that are set by the Group Policy settings.
