SUMMARY

The MSXML library is Microsoft's implementation of the Document Object Model XML parser. This component should not be configured within a COM+ application (or Microsoft Transaction Server Package). This means that MSXML should not be added as a component in a COM+ application in the Component Servies Snap-In.

The use of MSXML in COM+ is fully supported. To use it, just reference it from your own components, but do not configure MSXML as part of your COM+ application.

APPLIES TO
  • Microsoft COM+ 1.0
