SYMPTOMSWhen attempting to change folder permissions in Outlook the following error is received: “The modified permissions could not be saved.” Collapse this image ![]() CAUSEThe Access Control List (ACL) of the given folder has become corrupted and needs to be re-written. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem grant, apply and then remove Delegate access. This action forces a re-write of the Access Control Lists (ACL) at the mailbox level, which propagates to the folders.
