SYMPTOMS

Assume that you browse a webpage that hosts a VB6 ActiveX control by using Windows Internet Explorer 9. After you close the modal dialog box that is started by the ActiveX control, the parent window in Internet Explorer 9 stops responding.

To resolve this issue on a client computer, install the following update.
