You cannot use SQL authentication to create a Secure Store Service when there is no trust relationship between a SQL Server domain and a SharePoint Server 2010 domain.
When you select a digital asset from a document library that contains no document in a non-root SharePoint site collection, the asset picker returns an incorrect URL for the digital asset.
Consider the following scenario:
A FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint server has an Alternate Access Mappings (AAM) setting.
On the server, you create a search site whose URL contains spaces.
You upload documents to the search site.
You perform a search on the search site.
In this scenario, the search results whose URLs contain spaces in the AAM setting are not displayed.
When you use the out of box configuration for FAST Index federated location in SharePoint Server 2010, the Federated Search Web Part does not work.
Assume that you set the Locale option to United Kingdom on the Regional Settings page on a FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint system. When you perform a search or an advanced search for a date time value, no search results are returned. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
Your query is malformed. Please rephrase your query.
Note This issue occurs because FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint still uses a United State Date and Time format in the United Kingdom locale.
