Symptoms
In a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment, when you send a value from a stored procedure call by using the managed provider, the value may be inserted into the table as an incorrect value.
For example, you send a blank or null character in one of the stored procedure parameters by using the managed provider. In this scenario, the first character of the same column of the previous row is saved in the table.
Resolution
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. You must have Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 installed to apply this hotfix.
