Symptoms

Assume that you use Windows Internet Explorer 7 or Windows Internet Explorer 8 to run a web application. The application creates a popup window by using the window.createPopup method. Then, the application adds a linked style sheet to the document of the newly created popup window by using the document.createStyleSheet method. In this situation, a memory leak occurs in Internet Explorer. After some time, an "out of memory" exception may occur.
