Issue that this hotfix package fixes
Assume that you use the Microsoft Office Customization Tool (OCT) for Office 2010 to create a profile in Microsoft Outlook 2010. Although you configure the profile to use online mode, the profile uses cached mode.

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

How to apply this hotfix
For Office 2010 64-bit, follow these steps:

Download the hotfix package.

Extract the following file from the hotfix package:
Office2010-kb2545808-fullfile-x64-glb.exe -
Double-click the file that you extracted in step 2 to add or replace the following file in the root of the Office installation source:
.\Admin\Oct.dll -
Use this new file to save the Office Customization Tool updates.
For Office 2010 32-bit, follow these steps:

Download the hotfix package.

Extract the following file from the hotfix package:
Office2010-kb2545808-fullfile-x86-glb.exe -
Double-click the file that you extracted in step 2 to add or replace the following file in the root of the Office installation source:
.\Admin\Oct.dll -
Use this new file to save the Office Customization Tool updates.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for installing this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
