SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to uninstall Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2.0 on a computer that is running Windows 2000, the computer may stop responding (hang) and the following error message may be displayed on a blue screen:
STOP 0x000000cb: DRIVER_LEFT_LOCKED_PAGES_IN_PROCESS

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
