Xem xét kịch bản sau:
Bạn cố gắng cài đặt gói Windows Update được đánh dấu là Quan trọng trên máy tính chạy Windows 7 hoặc Windows Server 2008 R2. Gói này chứa trình điều khiển. Ví dụ: gói chứa trình điều khiển USBport.sys. Máy tính được đặt cấu hình để tự động cài đặt các bản cập nhật hoặc trong quá trình tắt máy. Trong trường hợp này, quá trình cài đặt dừng tại 0% trong năm phút và sau đó thất bại với lỗi hết thời gian.
Chú ý Sự cố này thường xảy ra hơn trên máy tính chậm hơn hoặc trên máy tính được gắn nhiều thiết bị.
Sự cố này xảy ra vì tình trạng dồn đuổi trong dịch vụ Cắm và Chạy trong quá trình cập nhật trình điều khiển.
Thông tin về bản cập nhật Chú ý Nếu bạn đã cài đặt bản cập nhật bảo mật 2532531 từ Microsoft Download Center nhưng chưa cài đặt này (2552343), bạn sẽ được cung cấp lại bản cập nhật bảo mật 2532531 thông qua Windows Update. Để giải quyết sự cố này, hãy cài đặt bản cập nhật 2552343 từ Microsoft Download Center hoặc khi được Windows Update cung cấp.
