Symptoms
You cannot receive data from SharePoint lists in Microsoft Access 2010 if the following conditions are true:

When Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 runs slow.

You have a low bandwidth connection.
-
You have a complex SharePoint list.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, apply the following hotfix package:

After you install the hotfix package, follow these steps to enable the hotfix:

Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.

Locate and then click one of the following registry subkeys:

32-bit Access on 32-bit Windows or 64-bit Access on 64-bit Windows

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Access Connectivity Engine\Engines

32-bit Access on 64-bit Windows

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Access Connectivity Engine\Engines

On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD (32-bit) value.

Type DataFetchTimeout, and then press ENTER.

In the Details pane, right-click DataFetchTimeout, and then click Modify.

In the Value data box, type 00015f90, and then click OK.
Note If the value does not resolve the issue, try a larger value. DataFetchTimeout is in milliseconds. -
Exit Registry Editor.
