SYMPTOMS

When you create a hub site collection in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, the following exception is logged in the Unified Logging Service (ULS) log:

SharePoint Server Taxonomy 8yqe Unexpected Failed to process hub site Hub Site URL: The changeToken refers to a time before the start of the current change log.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, apply the following hotfix package:
2553037  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2553037/ ) Description of the SharePoint Server 2010 hotfix package (Osrchwfe-x-none.msp): August 30, 2011
