SYMPTOMS

When you log on to Exchange 2000 with Outlook Web Access (OWA) and delete a folder in the Deleted Items folder or in a public folder, you receive a warning dialog box with the following question:
Are you sure you want to delete the current folder?
You may not realize that the folder is going to be permanently deleted.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2.
