On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen the ClassDesc classFlags member is accessed in a function in the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5 in Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 to check whether a class is invalid, is resolved, or has unresolved statics, cache misses for the L2 data cache and for the Translation Lookaside Buffer (TLB) may occur. These misses may occur hundreds of thousands of times during class resolution and may cause performance issues. For example, you may experience performance issues when a device calls the EE_ResolveFields function. Because of this issue, the start time of an application may increase significantly from seconds to minutes.
