The Alert Priority field in System Center Operations Manager 2007 connectors has different wording than in the Operations Manager console

When an alert is forwarded via System Center Operations Manager connectors, the alert priorities are Low, Normal, and High, whereas the Operations Manager Console and Web Console display the priorities as Low, Medium and High.
This happens because the SDK for System Center Operations Manager 2007 internally uses the words Low, Normal, and High for alert priority.
This is by design.
