SUMMARY

To make sure that the forestprep and domainprep commands run successfully, you need the following permissions:

forestprep

User permissions required:
  • Enterprise Administrator
  • Schema Administrator
  • Local Machine Administrator (if running on member server only)


domainprep

User permissions required:
  • Domain Administrator
  • Local Machine Administrator (if running on member server only)

MORE INFORMATION

If the Top Level Folder Creation tab in the Information Store Site Configuration Properties is not set to allow All Users to create top level folders, forestprep does not complete and you receive an "Error 0XC103798A."
