The Sysprep mini-wizard automatically installs any PCI/PC Card device as long as the following criteria are met:

The required drivers are included with Windows 2000, so the device is installed during the mini-wizard. However, if the drivers are supplied by the manufacturer and are not digitally signed, the criteria are not met and the installation of the device is postponed until an administrator logs on to the computer. The driver signing policy for GUI-mode Setup and the Sysprep mini-wizard is set to "Warn." Even if the "DriverSigningPolicy" setting is set to "Ignore" in the Sysprep.inf file, unsigned driver installation is postponed until the first logon during the mini-wizard. NOTE: For an unattended Setup in which a full version of GUI-mode Setup is run, the driver is installed, but the user may receive a warning stating that the driver has not been digitally signed (depending on the value of the "DriverSigningPolicy" key in the answer file).
