On This PageSYMPTOMSOn a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device that has many processes running and on which you are playing an audio file, audio play may be choppy when you are switching screens. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the priority of the Wavelib proxy thread is not high enough compared with the priority of the caller thread for the screen switch. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, apply this update. After you apply this update, you will be able to configure the priority of the Wavelib proxy thread by making a change in the registry. For more information about the registry change, see the "Registry information" section. Software update informationA supported software update is now available from Microsoft as Windows Embedded CE 6.0 Monthly Update June 2011. In the "File information" section, the package file name contains the product version, date, Microsoft Knowledge Base article number, and processor type.
