You may experience a loss or corruption of data when you are printing to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) PhotoSmart P1000/P1100 printer. This causes an incomplete print job. The problem may be intermittent.
CAUSE
The ECP port forward-to-reverse bus flip causes intermittent data corruption of the first byte during a reverse transfer. This is the forward and reverse (bi-directional) communication between the computer and the printer.
