SYMPTOMS

When you start Visio 2000 for the first time, you may receive the following error message:
Unable to locate Msvcp60.dll

CAUSE

When you install Visio 2000, some system files need to be updated. If other programs (such as virus protection programs) are running, some system files may not be properly updated, and unexpected errors may occur. The program that controls the system update, Mssup.exe, does not display error messages if any errors occur.
