You have a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
You access a remote desktop server by using Terminal Services (TS) Web Access or remote desktop (RD) Web Access from the computer. Or, you access a virtual machine by using the System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) Self Service Portal (SSP) from the computer.
You click the address bar in Windows Internet Explorer.
You change the focus back to the remote desktop session, and then try to send input by using the keyboard or the mouse.
In this scenario, the remote desktop session does not respond to any of the keyboard or mouse input.
The issue occurs because the remote desktop ActiveX object does not deactivate the focus of the remote desktop session when the focus is lost. Because the focus is still activated, the remote desktop ActiveX object cannot set the focus of the remote desktop session again when you change the focus back to the session.
